What is Huachuma?

Huachuma is life-force energy, just like the cactus he comes from, which can grow several stories tall in his effort to pierce the sun. The main alkaloid in Huachuma is mescaline, which also holds the distinction of being the first substance coined “psychedelic”, by Aldous Huxley in 1954.
Some consider cactus medicine to be the greatest teacher of all, because his mission is to bring us back to wholeness, unity, and the experience of unconditional love.
